Hayley is a multi-platform, visual storyteller, editor and creative producer based in New York City. She holds a Master's in Visual Journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She has formally worked on the visuals team at NPR in Washington D.C., the photo department at Rolling Stone magazine in New York, and as an editor and producer for ABC News. Her photography and writing has been published by ABC, Hearst magazines, NPR, NYT, WSJ, and various music publications/blogs. Hayley continues to work as a freelance content creator, editor, and creative producer for international media outlets, publications and brands.
Originally from the midwest, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in English and Art History with a specialization in American Cultures and Global Contexts. After traveling throughout Europe, Central and South America, she worked in film production in London, Chicago, and Los Angeles before pursuing a graduate degree in journalism and media studies. Hayley has a special interest in exploring cultural identity and social representations through music and corresponding counter cultures. She also really, really likes pizza.
Hayley is currently lives in Brooklyn NY but also works out of Los Angeles and throughout the Midwest.
